Thanks to my amazing friend Nicole, King's bday shoot was perfect. They turned out so cute and he had so much fun! Guess I'm bias, but I really do think he might be the most beautiful baby in the world!!!

He was a little unsure at first being nakey in front of nicole....

Well I can't believe the 1st bday party I have been planning since he was born finally arrived. It is true what they says that life goes by in a blink of an eye. The party was a hit. We had lots of family and friends there to support King's big day. It was a King of the jungle theme. King had so much fun!

I was very proud of this cake that I made! Took cake classes and everything!

Of course he dug right into the cake. That was definitely his favorite party of the day!

Jake and I are very happy and proud parents of this wonderful blessing. He is the best baby in the whole world. I couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect child. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for blessing us with him. We are a very happy family. I cry everyday that he grows so fast though!!!! It's so sad!!!! But so exiting for the many bday parties to come!

It is with a heavy heart and a great love and gratitude for this gospel that I post about my father in law Clay Roland Anderson. On Thurs night Jan 20th, Clay was playing basketball at the stake center when he collapsed and had a massive heart attack. Now you must first understand that receiving the call about this horrible event was incredibly shocking since Clay is a VERY healthy, active young 55 yr old man. I mean he is the fitness for life professor at UVU. He was taken by ambulance to Timp hospital and of course within min all of his family arrived. We all waited in the ER just hoping maybe he passed out or that the heart attack wasn't fatal. He then was given an angiogram so the doctors could see what the problem was. They found that his heart was actually missing an artery and had three blocked one's. They don't know how long it had been like that, days, months, years, even from birth. The doctor was surprised he was alive this long. They told us he would have a quadruple bypass and go form there. We waited and waited until finally the surgeon came to let us know his progress. The surgery went great, the heart looked wonderful. But he wasn't responding well or trying to speak or move. They said they were worried about the length of time his brain went without oxygen and they were worried about brain damage. The room went silent except for our cries. We couldn't imagine that Clay could be brain dead. It just couldn't be. After 4 days of waiting to see if he would pull out of his coma on Mon Jan 24, he had a MRI and the radiologist brought us in to tell us the results. Most of his brain was severely damaged and he had no hope for a meaningful recovery or normal life. We all lost it. We couldn't believe this news. Not Clay, who is smart, fun, active and anything else that goes along with an amazing person. I've never seen my husband so heart broken and upset. The cries of Julie and her kids will forever break my heart. After bringing all his extended family in and sharing the news they made the obvious but incredibly difficult choice of letting him go back to his Heavenly Father and pulling the plugs. We were all worried cause the doctor said his body is fine and that it was just his brain that was damaged so it could be awhile before he passed and it could be violent and hard to watch, (he would start seizing and try to breath on his own) After a beautiful blessing to release his spirt that he might not be in pain, by his boys and brother, it was only a hour after that he passed. It was very peaceful. No seizing or violent breathing. A very spiritual and hard experience. His family was so strong. Especially Julie, his wife. I sat and watched this family cling to each other and rejoice in Christ the whole night. They knew that Heavenly Father had a mission for Clay in heaven and that he had done all he needed to on this earth. There testimony of eternal families and the resurrection only grew stronger that night. All of ours did. I am so blessed to be a part of this family, to have known Clay for these last 6 years and for the effect he left on my life. I'm so blessed to have a true knowledge of life and to have the gospel. I know that one day we will all be reunited with Clay again with plenty of tears, laughter and love. He was one of the best man I know he and has left an amazing legacy behind. I am proud to be an Anderson.

Talk about best Christmas ever! It is SOOOOO much more fun when you have kids!!!! Even though he had no idea what was going on, we still had a blast. Note to self, don't buy that many toys for a 1 year old. He plays with them about five min and off to the garbage or toilet (his toy of choice) he goes. We also got to skype with trey who is in France. He is doing so wonderful and will be home in June!!! Counting down the days!

I am so excited this year for Christmas being that I finally have a kid to buy for! I know he has no idea what's going on but I don't care. I'm still going all out anyway. Everyday I wake up and go to his crib and he is bigger and bigger! He is so much fun. I love his smile and his laugh and love nothing more than when I walk into his room every morning he gets the biggest smile on his face and start kicking and waving his arms and reaches for me. Nothing can express how I feel about this little guy!

People weren't kidding when they told me he will be grown in a blink of an eye. I fall more and more in love with him everyday. I don't think I could ever get enough of this kid! I am so blessed to have him and thank my Heavenly Father for him every sec of the day....well, maybe not when he's screaming at 3 a.m. ok ok even then too:)

Jake and I celebrated our 4 yr anniversary on June 29th. He took me to the Tree room at Sundance and it was delicious. Of course couldn't stay out long because of the little one... but thats ok. We walked around Sundance and it was gorgeous. I can honestly say after 4 years I still get butterflies when he walks through the door! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABY! I couldn't be happier. I love you!!!!!!

Jake and taking pictures don't go hand in hand. It took three times for him to actually be looking at the camera! haha! Ahhh, one of the many things I love about him.

Well after dating since the 8th grade pretty much my brother Nate and his girlfriend Melissa finally tied the not! It was a beautiful wedding with an even more beautiful bride. It was in Yuba so we made the long car trip down. Of course only doing half way and spending the night cause King doesn't last very long. It was so fun having them meet Kingston for the first time. I got to see some of my best high school friends and they got to meet him also so that was a blast. Im so glad to have a new sister in law and looking forward to new nieces and nephews! The only thing missing...Trey!!! Here are some of the wedding pics i got. I will post the rest when I get them.

Jake's family had a family reunion in Zion's National Park. It was a blast. We stayed in a beautiful house, rode the rhino, and went paint balling! (which freaking hurts!) Luckily I didn't have to do any hiking! It also happened to be Kingston's first vacation. He doesn't do so well in a car for very long so we were pretty worried. He ended up being just fine though!

Every year I have to do something drastic to my house cause I get sick of looking at the same thing. A.D.D. So my summer project this year was painting it! It was so dark in my house so I went with a cheery yellow color and I love it. It looks a lot brighter in the pics but it real life its calm and pleasant. Gives sooo much more light to the rooms though. Thanks mom for your help! Hmmm....what next????

Well my baby had his big debut at church. We blessed him yesterday and it was such a perfect day! We have the worlds best friends and family who came out to share the day with us. THANK YOU SO MUCH. And I had the opportunity to hear Jake bare his testimony which was awesome. I am so thankful for a Father in Heaven who loves me so much to bless me with such a wonderful family. I love them so much and am lucky to have them.

So much to be thankful for this Easter. First and foremost I am so thankful for my Savior and the sacrifice he made for all of us. What a beautiful Easter it was to be able to listen to conference and be uplifted by the wonderful messages that were shared. Also it was the first Easter with our baby! I love my new family and am so grateful for the blessings and happiness they bring into my life. The spirit that Kingston brings into our life is a true assurance that the Lord lives and the church is true!

I can't believe King is already two weeks old! We went to his two week check up today and he is already 9.10 lbs! He is getting so big so fast. I just try and savor every single moment I can with him. It's so hard to let him nap in the day cause I just don't want to miss any moment! STOP GROWING UP SO FAST!!!!

Well the big day finally came. King is here! A week late, but hey totaly worth it. I ended up having to be induced early mon morning. After about 7 long hours I was still only dilated to a 1 1/2 with the worst back labor you could imagine so thats when I decided that it was time for the epidural and boy let me tell you ....SMOOTH sailing after that! The next 7 hours seemed like a walk in the park! I am all about epidurals. The min he came out I was instantly in love. I honestly thought before I could know what a mothers love must be like for their child, I didn't have a clue. It is the most amazing thing I have and will ever experience. I can't believe how you can love someone so instantly and do ANYTHING for them right away. Words can't even express my love and emotion to this boy. I am so grateful that the Savior entrusted me with him. He is such a blessing. I honestly don't deserve him. All I want to do is live my life to be a good mother to him. I can't take my eyes off this kid! Jake is so cute with him! I didn't think I could love Jake more than I did but the min he became the father to my child it's like you can't even call it love anymore cause it doesn't nearly describe the feeling. We are such a happy family and am so grateful for this little one. Here is a little bit of our experience on the great day of 3-8-2010!

Well I stayed up late last night and got the nursery finished faster than I thought. Here is the finished project! The brown looks a lot darker in the pics than it really is . The orange also looks a lot more bright in the pics. I am pleased with how it turned out though

9 months/NYL kick off!

Well it's finally here! I'm 9 months now! Only 4 weeks left! I still can't believe it. I still feel like this is all a dream and I am just gonna wake up any minute. I can't believe I'm finally having a baby. I honestly can't sleep most nights because I'm am so anxious and excited! When I even think about seeing my baby for the first time I already tear up. I'm gonna be a full on mess delivering! I am so grateful that the Lord blessed Jake and I with this precious gift. I don't even feel adequate to be a mother but I will try my best! KINGSTON I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU!

On a second note, last night was Jake's big New York Life kick off dinner. I am gonna brag about my husband for a min cause I don't do it enough! I am so proud of what he has a accomplished in a year with this company. He was in 2nd place for new org agent of the year in all of Utah! He was also mentioned for being 4th place in mutual fund leaders for the region! I can't imagine what he will accomplish there this year or the years to come! He is so brilliant and such a smart business man. I couldn't be prouder of my husband! I couldn't be luckier to have him in my life. I have to world's greatest husband and soon to be daddy!!!!!

My good friends that I worked with at Von Curtis threw me my first baby shower! It was so good to see everyone and get some really cute baby gifts! Its almost time!!!! Thanks again to my friends for the gifts and the shower!

Well Christmas and New Years came and went. What a great holiday it was! My brother Nate and his fiance Melissa were able to come to Utah for Christmas so that was so much fun. We also got the chance to talk to Trey out on the mission field! He is doing so good and in a beautiful town in France called Annecy. He is loving the work and already sounds like he has totally learned and grown from his amazing experiences! I miss him so much. I am so proud of him. I love being pregnant over the holidays cause it definitely helps time fly by! I can't believe I am 8 months now!!!! Baby is still as active as ever. Now his kicks actually hurt. He is a strong little guy.We are getting so close and so excited for his arrival! The only holiday left is Valentines Day before the little guy will be here! I CAN'T WAIT!

New Moon Movie!!!!

Well my expectations were greatly met by this fabulous movie!!! I loved it! I was pleasantly surprised by the werewolves since I'm soooooo team Edward! Bella even looked prettier in this movie. I will definitely be seeing this again in theaters! I can't wait till June for the Eclipse release since that was my favorite book!!!! This was the shirt I made for the premier. I had women coming up to me asking to take a pic of it. hahahah it went over pretty well!

Well another month has flown by and now there is only 3 months left which is so hard to believe! I love having the baby bump so there is no mistaking I'm pregnant and not just chubby. We are loving getting everything ready for the baby! Setting up the crib was so exciting! I can't wait for him to get here!!!!

Well I finally feel like there really is a baby coming! Im 20 weeks I got my baby bump and feeling a lot better! Baby is healthy and doing great. He was all over the place again with this ultrasound so the tech had a hard time getting him still to take a pic. Maybe he is like his dad and hates getting his picture taken though who knows. But everything is so great and we really couldn't be happier. Plus the tech said looks like I was measuring about 5 days sooner than original due date so that puts me at Feb 23:) Fine by me!!!!

So I now have a favorite new past time, and it's shopping for my unborn baby boy! Buying baby clothes is probably the best shopping I have ever done! I can't resist when it comes to tiny versions of outfits. It's like an uncontrollable force. I would never think that one day I would enjoy buying clothes for someone besides myself and I like it soooooo much better! It's pretty frightening that at this rate this child will need a walk in closet at age 2, but I just can't help it! I'm a first time mom give me a break! Good thing I'm having a boy cause I can imagine that with a girl, shopping is even more dangerous! I definitely couldn't resist this outfit cause if you know Jake (he collects nike shoes) you know I had to get it. And yes, it's velour! hahahahahahh I LOVE YOU KINGSTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well after 4 months of wondering we finally know! We are thrilled to be having a precious baby BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so suprised cause I was thinking it was a girl. Seeing the baby was so exciting and I of course cried when the nurse told us what it was, (tears of joy of course). I just couldn't believe that I was looking at my son. And boy was he wiggly! The nurse had a hard time getting the pics to be clear cause he was rolling all over the place! It was so cute! His little hand on his forehead and touching his ear. It was love at first sight! I honestly can't stop staring at his pictures. Jake couldn't be happier with a boy and neither could I. We are gonna name him Kingston Jake. We are so grateful and so excited to bring him into the world! I can't wait to meet!!!!!! He is already so adorable to me!!!!!!

Today was such a great day cause Jake and I got to hear our baby's Heartbeat! It was sooooo much fun and so exciting to hear that the baby is alive and well! Now it feels real! Well since everyone already know I might as well blog about it! But yes, I am FINALLY pregnant. It took about a year and a half so you could imagine my surprise when the test had two lines. The crazy thing is we went to a fertility specialist on a wed to set up appt. for artificial insemination then two days later I just had a feeling I might be prego and bam....took a test and I was right. Actually I took 4 test. Wanted to be sure you know. I am coming up on 8 weeks and my baby is the size of a blueberry right now:) Who knew something so small could make me so sick. Yep, me and the toilet have become really close. It's like being car sick 24/7. Who ever called it morning sickness is nuts cause it ALL DAY LONG. But totally worth it! I can't even express how grateful I am that the Lord has blessed us with this wonderful blessing. I can't believe how three years can go by so fast! Talk about the best years of my life! Yesterday was our anniversary. We had such a fun day together! Jake got off work early (which if you knew him is a gift on it's own) then he took me up to park city for some shopping then we went to Ruth's Chris were he had a great table reserved and even had sparkling cider waiting for us! It was sooooooooo good and romantic! I am so lucky to be married to such a wonderful person! Thank you for all you do for me to make my life a fairy tale! !!!!

K my friends Nicole and Emily throws this party of all these hand made ADORABLE stuff! There will be over 50 vendors and a live band! I went to the one she threw a couple months ago and bought a ton of cute stuff! It is stuff you would find on etsy. I got really cute feather and flowers headbands, skirts, jewlery! I can't even tell you how cute the stuff is! Get there early cause it goes fast! You will die!!!!!!

Well it happened... Elder Skousen reported to the MTC wed June 3rd. It has already been a wonderful experience and it really hasn't even started!

This was the first week in history that the mtc was closed due to swine flu so we just had to literally drop him off at the curb. Which now the change is permanent and if you ask me, I think it is WAY easier that way. My mom didn't even have time to get emotional...well sort of...

I already miss him so much but I know he will be such a great missionary. I am so excited to hear the amazing stories he will have. I will keep updates!

SKYDIVING!!!!!!! I REALLY DID IT!

So the day before my brother Trey got set apart for his mission he decided he wanted to go skydiving so we all decided we couldn't miss out on the action!

This is when we first got there. You can see we are a little nervous after watching a video that basically said we could die, and after singing a waver to not sue if we were to die.....
This is the plane.... it was so small and it is there biggest one!

Don't worry it not what you think hahahahahahha. I was worried about my that area cause they said it could get pinched!!!!!! I'm already fertile challenged as it is people!

This is Bella Grace Martin. Any one who knows me hears me talk about her all the time. She is my cousins baby and I pretty much obsessed with her! I think she is the most beautiful baby girl in the whole world! She is my favorite person to take pics of. She has cerebral palsy so she can't walk yet so it's kinda hard to shoot her but every day she gets stronger and will be hopefully be walking soon! She is pretty much like a baby sister to me.

GEVEVA SWITZERLAND MISSION!!!(French speaking) Trey was totaly nervous opening his call! I think I was more nervous though!

I have never seen my parents happier. Look at my mom!!!! She will die in the mtc! hahaha

Trey getting his mission call was definately one of the highlights of my life. I would say one of the best days of my life!!! This is the first missionary in our family to go out so we were thrilled! Along with serving in Switzerland he will serve in parts of France, Belgium, and Luxemburg! Which is crazy cause when he turned in his papers we asked where would he like to go if he could choose and he said Belgium!! He also took two years of French already in high school so he is happy about that. My grandparents served a temple mission in Bern, Switzerland so it is kinda special. We also have a lot of ancestors there! I am so proud of Trey and the long and hard road he took to prepare for this moment. He will be such a great missionary and will bring such a beautiful spirit to the swiss! I know the Lord will bless my family because of his choice he made to serve. He reports June 3 to the mtc! I already cry just thinking about him leaving though! I will miss him so much!!!!!

Um hands down best movie I have ever seen! I was freaking out through the whole thing. I have seen it twice already and it's even better the second time if you could imagine!!! Lets just say Edward was PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The soundtrack is amazing from the movie also!
I loved all his jackets and coats he wore in the movie!! Don't you!!!!

Jake's parents took us to visit Jake's mission! Charlotte North Carolina! It was so much fun!!!!!!

This is the Biltmore House in Ashville, N.C. We had the chance to tour the inside and it was amazing! Can you recognize this house?...It is the house in the movie Richy Rich!

Jake's brother and sister are both out serving the Lord and we couldn't be more proud. Elder Anderson is serving in the London England mission while Sister Anderson is in Prague Check Republic mission! Both such exotic places. You guys are in our thoughts and prayers everyday and we can't wait to see you! And your missions of course!

Trey graduated from high school this year which is crazy! He starts college soon and will be turning 19 in April so that means off on a MISSION!!! I will miss him so much! And my baby brother Blake turned 15 in July and will be getting his permit!Which is crazy and scary! I love all my brothers so much and I am so glad my fam moved to Utah so I can be a part of all these milestones! NATE MOVE TO UTAH I MISS YOU BROTHER!!!
